We provide a professional valuation service, which we offer at no cost to the owner provided we have in return a reasonable opportunity to market the business for sale on an exclusive basis. Alternatively, we also offer the valuation service in return for an agreed fee.
This is the key document that prospective buyers are presented with. It provides an overview of the business without disclosing any sensitive information and is prepared by us together with the owner thereby ensuring that there is no breach of confidentiality.
We use our website, media advertising, networks and direct approaches to market businesses we are mandated to sell. A specific marketing plan is prepared for each seller, which plan is agreed to with the seller before marketing commences.
We work with the seller and the seller’s accountants/financial advisors to ensure that financial information is prepared in such a way that a prospective purchaser is provided with as much information as possible about the business without disclosing information that will be shared only at/towards the finalisation of a transaction.
This is a key aspect of our service, one where we are able to add value to the process of concluding a successful transaction.
Once we have facilitated a successful sales transaction we will manage the due diligence process (ie we do not perform the actual due diligence) at no extra cost to the seller.
We will ensure that the transaction process is managed and monitored to conclusion, working with all parties (buyers, sellers, attorneys and accountants) to ensure the smooth transition of ownership.
